Fortis Metal N.A. Inc. offers cold drawn square bar sourced from either coil or bar. These bars are available in sizes ranging from 1/8” to 5”. Our cold drawn carbon steel square bar is known for its durability and versatility, making it suitable for various applications.
Typically, cold drawn square bars are provided with sharp edges and in their natural state. Fortis Metal N.A. Inc. also offers products with specific heat treatments (stress relieving, annealing, normalization, quenching, and tempering) and performs automatic ultrasonic control on each individual bar. These heat treatments are conducted at our production sites by qualified personnel using state-of-the-art equipment.
Shape: Square bars
Size Range: From 1/8″ (3.175 mm) up to 5″ (127 mm)
Finish: Cold-drawn (+C) for improved straightness and surface smoothness
Tolerance: Tight dimensional control for precision machining and fabrication
